Sydney Charter Bus COVID-19 update.
Sydney Charter Bus Pty Ltd has updated its business policies and Safety Management Handbook regarding COVID-19 for drivers, vehicles and passengers travelling in private transport charter buses.
Safety to our drivers and passengers is our number one priority and we will be continuing to monitor the laws and guidelines set out by NSW Health, Australian Government and local authorities regarding private transport services.
Prior to all charter bus and hire services our drivers will sanitise the vehicle and surfaces and we encourage all passengers to take appropriate precautions when travelling in our buses and we ask all passengers to follow hygiene recommendations set out by NSW Health.
Sydney Charter Bus is 100% committed to the safety of our office staff, drivers and passengers. As public transport services still have social distancing rules in place this is not the case for private transport such as charter bus and hire services. All our coaches and minibuses are sanitised prior to all services and drivers will always have access to a face mask and hand sanitiser but we do ask passengers to follow hygiene recommendations set out by NSW Health.
As charter bus and hire with driver services have no limits to vehicle capacity which means passengers can sit in any seat but we do ask all passengers to not use any bus services if they are feeling unwell or have been in contact with anyone from named areas with recent cases as outlined by the Australian Government.
We ask all passengers to wear a face mask (but you may choose not to do so) when on any private or public transport service and follow hygiene recommendations and remember that there may be rules in place at their destination regarding gatherings, physical distancing.
Sydney Charter Bus will continue to monitor and update and we are committed to the safety of all passengers and drivers.
We ask passengers to
- Wear a face mask whilst travelling on the bus (you may choose not to)
- Carry hand sanitiser to use at their leisure
- Please stay at home if you are sick or feel unwell
- Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing
- Avoid contact with anyone with flu-like symptoms
- Physical distance where possible on the bus
- Download and keep open the COVIDsafe App
- Wash your hands with soap for 30 seconds when you can
- Carry sanitary wipes to use at your leisure
No one can predict when this pandemic will end and we are in in this together. By adhering to health guidelines, we can get through this pandemic and get back to everyday life.
