Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport — commonly known as WSI or Badgerys Creek Airport — is Australia’s most significant new aviation infrastructure project in over half a century. Opening for passenger flights in October 2026, WSI is a full-service international and domestic airport operating without a curfew, without flight caps, and without the chronic capacity constraints that have defined Sydney’s aviation landscape since the Sydney Airport Curfew Act 1995 first clipped the wings of Sydney’s only major airport.
Sydney Charter Bus Australia is ready. We provide professional, fully accredited group charter bus and coach transfer services to and from Western Sydney International Airport — for corporate clients, tour operators, sporting groups, schools and private travellers. Whether your group is arriving on the inaugural Singapore Airlines night service, departing on an early Qantas domestic flight, or connecting between terminals, we offer the most practical and cost-effective private ground transport solution for groups who cannot rely on a public transport network that is not yet complete.

Getting to Western Sydney International Airport — Travel Times
WSI is located 44 km west of the Sydney CBD. Travel time from the city is approximately 45–75 minutes by road via the M12 Motorway (which opened 14 March 2026, connecting WSI directly to the M7 at Cecil Hills). From Western Sydney suburbs, WSI is significantly closer than Kingsford Smith — Penrith is approximately 13 km away, Liverpool approximately 25 km, and Campbelltown approximately 20 km.
Important for all charter bus passengers: All SCBA fleet vehicles (GVM over 4.5 tonnes) are legally limited to 100 km/h on all NSW roads — including the M7 and M12 motorways where private cars may travel at 110 km/h. Our company rest policy requires a mandatory 20-minute rest stop after every 3 hours of continuous driving. Please factor these into your departure and arrival planning. Journey times below reflect charter bus travel, not private car estimates.
| Origin | Approx. Travel Time by Charter Bus | Key Route |

| Parramatta | 40–55 minutes | M4 → M7 → M12 |

| Blue Mountains | 45–65 minutes | Great Western Hwy → M7 → M12 |
| Wollongong | 75–95 minutes | M1 → M7 → M12 |
Travel times are indicative estimates for charter buses under normal traffic conditions via the M12 Motorway. Allow additional time during peak periods, school holidays and event days. All times are subject to road conditions. Depot-to-depot pricing applies — see our Pricing & Rates page.
Public Transport to WSI — What Is & Isn’t Available at Opening
Available at Opening (October 2026)
| ✓ | M12 Motorway — opened 14 March 2026. Direct link from WSI to the M7 at Cecil Hills. The primary road access to the airport for all vehicles. |
| ✓ | WSI Link Bus — interim free shuttle service connecting WSI to St Marys Station (Main Western Line). Launched 5 July 2026, operating every 30 minutes from approximately 4:30am to midnight, ahead of the Metro opening. Source: Wikipedia — WSI |
| ✓ | Additional bus routes — five bus routes connecting communities between Penrith and Blacktown to WSI, commencing 5 July 2026. |
Not Yet Available at Opening
| ✗ | Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport line — the 23 km metro line from St Marys through Orchard Hills and Luddenham to the Airport Terminal and Bradfield City Centre. Construction commenced December 2022. Currently not expected to open until 2027. Source: Sydney Metro |
| ✗ | Direct city rail connection — there is no direct heavy rail link to WSI at opening. The WSI Link bus to St Marys is the only rail connection at launch. |
For groups of 8 or more passengers, a private charter bus transfer is significantly faster, more practical and more cost-effective than a bus-to-train-to-bus connection from most Sydney locations — particularly with luggage.
Why Choose a Charter Bus for WSI Transfers
| ✓ | No curfew — no transfer restrictions. WSI operates 24/7. The Singapore Airlines SQ202 departs at 23:55. Late-night and early-morning charter transfers operate on the same schedule as the airport itself. |
| ✓ | Door-to-door service. We collect your group from your accommodation, office, home or school and deliver them to the WSI terminal — no connections, no luggage transfers between modes. |
| ✓ | Luggage capacity. Minibuses can be fitted with luggage trailers (approx. 20 large suitcases). Coaches have under-vehicle luggage bays sized to the vehicle’s passenger capacity. All excess luggage must be declared at booking. |
| ✓ | Cost-effective for groups. Pricing is per vehicle — not per person. For groups of 8 or more, a single charter bus is almost always cheaper per head than multiple taxis or rideshare vehicles, with the added benefit of keeping the group together. |
| ✓ | Flight monitoring & delay management. Our driver monitors your flight in real time. If your arrival is delayed, we adjust. See our Flight Delays Policy for full details. |
| ✓ | Meet & Greet available. For arrivals, our driver will meet your group at the WSI arrivals exit with a name sign — coordinated to your flight’s actual arrival time, not the scheduled time. |
| ✓ | NSW accredited & fully insured. NSW Bus Operator Accreditation No. 39461. Transport for NSW accredited. Comprehensive public liability insurance. All drivers hold a current NSW Driver Authority. |
| ✓ | Direct operator — no brokers. You deal with us directly. The vehicle is ours, the driver is ours. No third-party surprises on the day. |

Flight Delays — WSI Policy
Sydney Charter Bus Australia monitors all WSI arrival flights in real time from the scheduled landing time. The following conditions apply to all WSI airport transfer bookings:
| Domestic arrivals | Standard 30-minute complimentary wait from scheduled landing time — included in the base transfer fare |
| International arrivals | Extended complimentary wait to account for customs clearance, immigration and baggage collection — agreed at time of booking |
| 60-minute threshold | If passengers have not exited arrivals within 60 minutes of the scheduled arrival time, our office contacts the nominated group contact to decide: (a) continue waiting — overtime charges apply from that point, plus WSI Class B parking fees; or (b) release the vehicle |
| WSI parking fees | WSI Class B parking fees (TBC — to be published by WSA Co) apply for all wait periods beyond the initial drop-off. Passed to client at cost, itemised on invoice. |
| Group contact requirement | The nominated group contact must be reachable by mobile phone — not a landline or hotel reception — at all times on the day of service. At the 60-minute threshold, the contact must be immediately reachable to provide a decision. |
| WSI curfew-free advantage | Unlike Kingsford Smith Airport, WSI has no curfew. Late-night arrivals (e.g. Singapore Airlines SQ202 from Singapore arriving at WSI 05:05 next morning) can be serviced without any restriction on driver or vehicle timing. |
See our full Flight Delays Policy for complete terms and conditions governing airport transfer services.
Excess Luggage — WSI Transfer Bookings
WSI passengers — particularly on international routes — may carry significantly more luggage than a standard day-charter group. Excess luggage must be declared at the time of booking, not on the day of service.
| Item | Policy |
|---|---|
| Standard allowance | 1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on bag per passenger. This is the baseline used to size the vehicle at booking. |
| Excess luggage | Any luggage beyond the standard allowance must be declared at the time of booking. Do not assume excess bags will fit — we may need to upgrade the vehicle or arrange a luggage trailer. |
| Minibus luggage capacity | Minibuses can be fitted with a luggage trailer (approx. 20 large suitcases). Must be arranged at booking — not available on the day without prior arrangement. |
| Coach luggage capacity | Coaches have under-vehicle luggage bays — a 34-seater holds approx. 34 large suitcases. A 42-seater holds approx. 42, and so on. Groups with 2 large suitcases per person will require a larger vehicle or second vehicle. |
| Aisle prohibition | No luggage may be stored in the aisle of any vehicle at any time. This is Australian law — the aisle must remain clear for emergency egress at all times. |
| Undeclared excess on the day | If undeclared luggage arrives and does not fit, it must travel separately by taxi at the client’s expense. We cannot guarantee a second vehicle or luggage truck if not pre-booked. |
See our full Excess Luggage Policy for complete terms and conditions.
Onboard Rules — All WSI Transfer Services
