Accor Stadium
Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay NSW 2127 | Capacity: 82,000
Australia’s largest and most iconic stadium was built as the centrepiece of the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games at a cost of $690 million. Originally built to host more than 110,000 spectators, a reconfiguration in 2003 reduced capacity to 83,500 and gave the stadium the ability to host five professional sporting codes. More than 25 million fans have walked through the turnstiles since opening. Its two 295-metre arching trusses deliberately echo the Harbour Bridge. Coldplay’s four-night run in November 2024 set a cumulative attendance record of 338,776 for the venue.
Bus parking: Pod B (Edwin Flack Avenue) and Pod C (Old Hill Link). $55 inc. GST per bus. View our parking map.
Allianz Stadium
Moore Park, Sydney NSW 2021 | Capacity: 45,500
Sydney’s premier rectangular venue for rugby league, rugby union and football, built in 1988 next to the Sydney Cricket Ground on the former Sydney Sports Ground site. Home to the Sydney Roosters, NSW Waratahs and Sydney FC. The record attendance of 43,967 was set on 31 October 1993 for the 1994 FIFA World Cup Qualifier when the Socceroos played Argentina. The venue was fully rebuilt and reopened in 2022 as a state-of-the-art rectangular stadium. Located in Moore Park, 3km from the Sydney CBD.
Transport note: Ample street drop-off and coach access via Driver Avenue and Moore Park Road.
Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)
Driver Avenue, Moore Park NSW 2021 | Capacity: 48,000
Founded on a swampy reserve for colonial soldiers to play sports in the mid-19th century, the SCG was established in 1848. In 1908, the SCG hosted the inaugural rugby league international match between Australia and New Zealand. It was also the first venue to host a cricket match under floodlights when Australia played West Indies in 1978. The historic Members Pavilion, built in 1878, remains one of Australia’s finest examples of Victorian sporting architecture. Home to Test cricket, the Sydney Sixers and Sydney Swans.
Transport note: Adjacent to Allianz Stadium. Coach access via Driver Avenue and Moore Park Road.
CommBank Stadium
Parramatta CBD, NSW 2150 | Capacity: 30,000
CommBank Stadium is a 30,000-capacity rectangular stadium located in Parramatta, in Sydney’s west, opened in April 2019 as Bankwest Stadium. The upper tier holds 20,000 people and rises 26 rows, becoming the steepest grandstand ever built in Australia, with a rake of nearly 34 degrees. Home to the Parramatta Eels and Western Sydney Wanderers. The site has a history stretching to 1847, when Governor FitzRoy approved the creation of a racecourse here. In 1981, after Parramatta won their first premiership, supporters burned the old grandstand to the ground, prompting the decision to build a modern stadium.
Transport note: 10 minutes walk from Parramatta Station. Coach drop-off via Smith Street precinct.
ENGIE Stadium
Sydney Olympic Park, NSW 2127 | Capacity: 23,500
Sydney Showground Stadium, commercially known as ENGIE Stadium, is located at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park. Opened in 1998, it was constructed as Australia’s premier baseball facility and hosted the baseball competitions during the 2000 Summer Olympics, where the United States defeated Cuba in the final. The venue became known as ENGIE Stadium in March 2024 under a three-year naming rights deal with energy company Engie. Home to the GWS Giants and Sydney Thunder BBL. It is the last intact example of its kind in Australia, with an interior evoking a Mediterranean courtyard under a starry blue ceiling. The property was added to the NSW State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. Home of major musicals, ballet and opera. 5 minutes walk from Central Station.
Transport note: Drop-off via Campbell Street and Pitt Street. No on-site parking, nearby Wilson Parking on Goulburn Street.

Described by many as the “Palace of Dreams,” its Gothic and French Empire-inspired interior is among the most extraordinary public spaces in Australia, featuring a 21-rank Wurlitzer organ. Since 1974, the State Theatre has been the home of the annual Sydney Film Festival. It hosts concerts, comedy, live theatre, film premieres and major corporate events. Located steps from Town Hall Station.

Since it opened in 1997, the Lyric has hosted world premieres, including Strictly Ballroom the Musical, and Australian premieres of Legally Blonde, Matilda the Musical and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. The auditorium changes size at the touch of a button, making it one of Australia’s most technically advanced theatre spaces. Located at The Star, Pyrmont, with direct light rail access.

Foundry Theatre
The Star, 55 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont NSW 2009 | Capacity: 360 seated, 630 standing
An unused space behind the Sydney Lyric was transformed into the Foundry Theatre, a new intimate live entertainment venue for the city, opening in February 2025 with room for 630 standing patrons or 360 in seats. Patrons journey through backstage passageways to the venue, with minimalist interior design and dynamic lighting creating an immersive experience for both performers and audiences. Opened by Foundation Theatres with Tim Minchin as the inaugural performer. Ideal for intimate concerts, comedy, cabaret and theatrical productions.
