National Road Safety Week is an annual initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and Government. The week highlights the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.
Australia’s National Road Safety Week: shining a light on all the different ways we can work together to keep everyone safer on our roads across NSW.
Road safety is a shared responsibility and this year NSW Government is asking everyone to get involved, spread the word and consider what action we all can take to keep not just road users safe but pedestrians as well.
NSW Government is urging all charter bus hire companies to reach out to our drivers and ask them to take the pledge and drive so others survive. Taking the pledge is making a commitment to take responsibility on the road to protect every life, every time you drive.
There are other ways to get involved by visiting www.sarahgroup.org and downloading marketing material and participate in the events scheduled during the week. You can also follow on Facebook to see the yellow ribbon relay across the state raising awareness of road trauma in NSW.
National Road Safety Week is an annual initiative created by the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group to honour those who have lost their lives or been injured on Australia’s roads. The week highlights the impact of road trauma and campaigns to reduce the number of crashes due to unsafe roads and driving.
Actively supporting National Road Safety Week (16-23 May 2021) Sydney Charter Bus drivers are all wearing yellow ribbons and encouraging all our friends, family and passengers to show their support for the campaign by purchasing and displaying a yellow ribbon, or by pledging to commit to drive safely so others survive.
We ask all road users to think about how they can actively protect, not just themselves and their passengers, but all those who are vulnerable on the road.
Let’s all work towards zero deaths on NSW roads. Sydney Charter Bus is commited to road safety. Please take the time to read about us.
