The policy establishes that all lost property claims must be submitted in writing with a valid booking reference number — without which the relevant service, vehicle and driver cannot be identified. Found items are stored securely for three months from handover before being donated to charity. The policy clearly defines the Hirer’s responsibility to conduct a pre-disembarkation vehicle inspection at the conclusion of every service, to make internal group enquiries before contacting the company, and acknowledges that Sydney Charter Bus Pty Ltd accepts no liability for personal property left on its vehicles, consistent with the General Terms & Conditions of Charter & Hire and applicable NSW law.
